In General, the Trail will be utilized in the following manner to interpret and recognize the events surrounding September, 11 2001:

As told through a journey through the September 11th landscape.

Interpretive Concepts

•Plaques along the trail to tell the stories of those who died, and link their stories to the American story.

•Learning about America and ourselves through them.

Sites

•3 September 11 memorials already in planning/development are the anchors for the trail.
